A painting from many years ago after feeling the connection people have on the dance floor
“Oh how beautiful the butterflies are, Little Red Riding Hood said, “I am ever so sorry to see them leave.” She bravely travels deeper into a forest that she sees changing before her eyes. “I must look into myself, change my heart. If I ever hope to save this place, I must transform she whose story of this earth is at odds with it’s flourishing…”
About 95% of the painting on this stunning work was done live at Maui Mystic, Lucidity Festival, and Bicycle Day events. Even though there was no model for this painting, her personality and humanity slowly showed up before my eyes as I painted. With lush thick brushstrokes and fine detail, it is a lovely sight to behold.
Prints of her are now available along with a lot more inspiring and magical art for the Holidays HERE.

There’s a new mural in one of San Francisco’s tech corridors. The front of the warehouse at 787 Brannan mural is now graced with some work by yours truely.
Below is how it progressed:
The Wall had a mural that the the people that lived there did not like. The wall had a large rolling door as well as large windows, etc. To give you a sense of the scale, the person in the frame is 6’2″
The wall needed to be washed and loose paint stripped off. Then I painted a base coat
Then the color starts to show up
The center is painted. Unfortunately, I was not allowed to use spray, and had to use brush and rollers for everything.
The center is finish
The left side figure, representing the Pastoral age, with the face unpainted. Notice the african symbol for adaptation on the side.
The finished mural stiched together from several photographs and with trees photoshopped out. Click on the Image to enlarge.
This bold new painting is a classic example of one of my new directions of innovative combining my more classical work with contemporary elements. 11×14 and 16×20 prints are available , as well as full size Giclee canvas prints. The original is also available. For inquiries about the purchase of prints or original, order here.

Welcome to 2014 to all the New Art Fans, 21st Century Goddesses, and Spiritual Cyborgs.
I assume there are no (sentient) Robots reading this…not yet? Bueller…? Bueller…? Maybe next year…
With the hope of a new year upon us, I ask you all to take a moment, right now and ask yourself, “What is my biggest inspiration for 2014? If I could do one thing, what would it be?”
Now play big here, but you get one thing… nope only thing. Not ten things, ONE THING!
See, too often people try to do too many things and they don’t accomplish any of them (yours truly is very guilty of this). In today’s increasingly fast-paced technological world – with a staggering amount of inputs bombarding us from social media, email, phone aps, web, bosses, advertising, traffic noises, constructions noises, more advertising – it’s important to SLOW DOWN, get present. Pick that ONE thing you are going to ROCK this year.
We on the list are smarter than that, we are adapting. We are the future spiritual cyborgs. The busier it gets out there, the calmer we get. The more stressed people are around us, the more relaxed we get. We strive to use technology to create more depth, than breadth in our lives. Let’s rock this new year and make it the funnest, richest, most caring, most successful year yet!
