PRICING:
First a word about pricing art commissions. Every painting is a one of a kind, hand made, hand painted WORK OF ART, created to fit the client’s desire, surroundings, budget, and relations. The 3 most popular options below may not optimally fit the subject matter or intention of the client (For example: a long horizontal painting of your three children as angels sitting on a cloud). These options are just a starting point. For this reason, all projects are reviewed by Yurik and priced according to size, detail, complexity, timeline, and available reference.
Additional painted copies are 85% of the price of the first. You can also order prints of the original on canvas or paper to give as gifts to friends and relatives (see the bottom of this page)
BASIC
A life-like “bust” portrait of the object of your affection with a simple background. It can be painted realistically or with fantasy elements. 16″x 20″ is a common size for this kind of portrait.
DELUXE
Our most popular option, the Deluxe portrait features Imaginative elements, realistic or fantasy, the complete figure in a unique pose and environment, and a combination of fine detail and loose brushwork . 24″x 36″ is a typical size for this portrait.
For complex backgrounds add 50% and for each additional figure add 35%.
MUSEUM PREMIUM
For those who demand the very best… In a world of digital cameras and temporary photography, give a gift of custom art that stands the test of time. The Museum Premium portrait features the object of your love masterfully rendered in a one-of-a-kind oil painting with a creative and highly detailed environment in a classical style – created with Pre-Rafaelite technique, soft blending (sfumato), and designed to look equally at home on a museum wall as in your living room, bedroom or office. This artwork will be cherished and handed down for generations. It is painted on hand-stretched linen using time-tested archival techniques designed to look just as good as the day it was painted as it will for over 800 YEARS. Overall package includes archival varnishing and inspection by the artist ( which is typically done when the oil paint is fully dry, 6 months after delivery), and Certificate of Authenticity. Size is typically 36″x48″. Options include: delivery and presentation at a wedding or other special event, and wall design consultation. Yurik now offers the unique opportunity to order giclee prints of your commissioned portrait, the perfect gift for family and friends and very affordible compared to painted copies.
Available in several different sizes, printed on archival watercolor paper or canvas with archival quality inks and of course signed by the artist.
